You can change the email settings for the API Access for FST to only receive positive results or receive positive and negative results, default is saved as positive and negative.

To change your settings :

Login to your Administrator account via www.financial-sanctions.net

Select "Company" on the menu and then "Edit Company".

Select either "Positive" or "Positive/Negative" from the drop down list.

Please make sure that you click on the Upgrade Button to save your settings.

Click on Menu Item "Reports".

Select a previous Month and Year to report on.

Your Company name should already be shown greyed out in the field marked "Company Name".

Click on Download button.

This will download a CSV for use in Excel or a similar spreadsheet program. Either open or save the document when asked.

Please Note : Current and Future months will show a Search Error as you will only be able to view Previous Months.

Select "Settings" on the menu and then "My Users".

On the right hand side there will be a green icon called 'Add'.

Complete the fields, then select the Register User button.

The new user will receive an email with their username and password.

Please make sure that the new user clicks on the activation link within the email or they will not be able to use their account.

Click on Search List on the menu and complete the fields, then click on the Search button.

If the search criteria you have entered is found in our database, then you will be supplied with some information. If not, then nothing to display will be shown on your screen.

For each Search you run you will be given a unique search reference, you can then save this against your in-house software about your client.

Remember
If your search reveals the person you were looking for is on the sanctions list. Then you must stop any services provided to your client and report this matter, as soon as possible, to HM Treasury's Asset Freezing Unit at either of the following addresses:

The Annual charge for either Premium or Premium Plus+ is collected annually via Direct Debit.

We will require the following information from you to setup the Direct Debit.

Bank Name

Account Name

Account Number

Sort Code

If you have more than one current Free Account on FST then you can upgrade all these accounts, however the cost to upgrade is "Per Company Account". If you would like us to merge your "Free Accounts" in to one "Company Account" then please ask when you upgrade.

(Please note that merging your Company Accounts in to one account will be chargeable and we will be able to discuss this at the time of your phone call.)

Each time a user logs in they will be issued with a randomly generated Hexadecimal code which is logged against a cookie that is set on that persons computer.

So for instance if you have multiple people using the same login details (this is not recommended as the audit trail will only show one person using the system) and person 1 logins in they will be issued with the randomly generated Hexadecimal code, then if person 2 logs in using the same login details a new randomly generated Hexadecimal code will be issued to person 2. If Person 1 then tries to use the site then they will be issued with a Concurrent User Screen.

Person 1 can click on the link to log back in again, however again a new code will be issued which will then log person 2 out.

If you a hot desking though out the day you will be logged out of the previously used computer as this will act like another person logging in to the same user account.

**If you have more than one person logging in to one user account then please contact ProExe on "0845 1300 192" to upgrade your account to our Premium or Premium Plus+ products.**

If you do get a result, then shown then on each line of the result you will now see a "More Info" Icon.

If you click on the "More Info" Icon then a popup window will show more information relating to that person.

If you find that the your search should not have produced any positive results then you can amend your search result to non positive by clicking on the relevant button under the results.

For an Individual Search when you get a possible positive result there will now be a button that shows "Mark as Non-Positive"

For a Company Search you will get multiple buttons.

• Result on Financial Sanctions List will show a button "Mark Financial Sanctions List as Non-Positive"

• Result on Investment Ban List will show a button "Mark Investment Ban List as Non-Positive"

Only click on the above buttons if result is in one list and not the other.

When there is a positive find on both the Financial Sanctions List and the Investment Ban List then another button at the bottom of the Company Search reaults will be visible, this will show as "Mark Results on Both Lists as Non-Positive". Only use this button if both lists find a positive result on your search and it should be a False Positive.

When you use any of the buttons to change the result to a Non-Positive, the database will be updated an will record the user who has over ridden this search.

For Example :

• insertion: test > tests
• deletion: tests > test
• substitution: test > tent

If a person running a search on the Financial Sanctions Tool miss spells an individuals/company name, it may be an approximate match against someone on either of the list.

The System is set to a 70% margin of being correct, you can not individually set this for your company or users, this is a global setting to make sure everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet.
