Is it important to have the correct Administration Contact details?

If you wish to transfer a domain name, the administration contact needs to confirm the transfer. It is therefore imperative that you have the correct details. If the administration contact is incorrect or fails to respond, the transfer cannot proceed. This is a security mechanism to prevent fraudulent transfer requests taking place. | |
