The transfer process varies in the amount of time it takes depending on the type of domain.

If you have a .uk domain name already on one the ProExe tags, then the transfer process should take less than 24 hours.

If you have a .com domain, the transfer process can take up to a week.

ProExe suggests allowing a maximum of 2 weeks for the transfer process to be completed. Your site should not, however, go down during this time period so long as your current host does not deactivate your site.
